Yes Spud has lots of holes in his clothes and a 6 banger would make for a great sewing machine LOL

klvn8r has a 4oh that i think he owes me or sumthin. i might just scam one a little closer to home. i got some swell turbos that followed me home from work. i got this cool piece of shit 69 javelin klvn8r gave me. i got this 998 for free and i'll likely take the nine inch out of the street machine for something more streetable. i got the makins of a real pile of shit six banger turdblowed shitwagon here and just need to spend some money on glue, sewer pipe and poprivets. yeah bart i got holes in ma clothes too. the wifeys bitchdog chews the crotch outa them if i drop em on the floor. bitch likes that nutstink I guess. makes it easier to find somethin to play with so I don't fix em.

while i think we may have a few people concerned with the turbo idea i think its more of a slight fear issue. with the numbers standing at 7%hp increase for every positive pound of manifold pressure and spuds turbos probly putting out 25psi+, theres a great posiblity of another spud-dud smacking event.

what is a spud-dud smacking event exactly? I need to know since it appears to be a spud-based event and i need to deliver a great performance for{ both} my fans.

# 8 stock dished Speed Pro pistons (9.0:1 w/stock heads)

With anything other than 291c's, or severely milled later heads, you won't have 9.0:1. More like 8.25-8.50. The 360 I'm running now, with stock pistons, 291c's, and Fel-Pro head gaskets, has 9.3:1. Something else you can do to up compression is have the block decked. If the engine is still together, put any piston at TDC, and check how far the piston is bellow the deck. If you don't have a dial indicator, a good straightedge and feeler guages will get you close. Whatever measurement you get(.020 for example), have the block decked that much. Decking the block, or thinner gaskets(not much available there) is the quickest way to increase compression without changing parts, like smaller dish/flat top pistons.

Although it's in a 401, I can tell you that the Crane H-272-2 works VERY well with lower compression. The engine is dead stock, piston and head wise. In fact, the only mods were/are that cam, a Performer, headers, and 800DP Holley.

that cam does good in low comp engines. another good cam for a low comp engine is a sig erson TQ-20. it makes gobs of cylinder pressure from outa nowhere.

I am running the 291 heads. As a matter of fact I think I just cracked the passenger side head. I am getting a coolant leak somewhere on that side of the block/head. Can't really see to be sure so I'll rip the motor out eventually.
