Thats one guy who has alot patience!!! To get all those long bolts started and working with the gaskets... I had a set of studs made out of stainless. Slip on the gasket and slip on the vavle cover   A friend of mines brother started a machine shop and he happens to have a cnc...

I don't know made them but I bought them from http://www.4wd.com/

I called them a couple of years ago and the smuck who answered the phone didn't know what I was talking about. But I did see a set for sale not that long ago on frans forum for not much more than 100$ if I remember right.

I wanted to use these covers on the stroker I used to have in the car, but they hit the sides of the cross-ram intake. It would have looked HUGE with that intake and these covers. There's room for 3 or 4 stud girdles in there. :D :D

I'm old fashioned, these are still my faves. Except maybe for Rebel 25As.

Took the heap out and washed the dust off today. Hopefully I'll get to the track in the next couple weeks to try the trans again.
