And finally got to fire it yesterday... WOW what a long ass freaking winter it has been. our first stick race was supose to be the 29th, but that track 2 days ago, had 6 feet of water over the track...
It can stop raining anytime now!

Mike,did Randy or have you every been fucked with by the tech guys at the track with this car? I know its quick as lightening,but it will always look like you fished it outta the woods LOL

Bart, Ole Randy had the southern charm with the tech guys...I don't have that gift.
When i got teched, i always took my light weight jacket. The one for 10.00 and slower...the ONLY place i have ever had any issues is my local track.. One of the Old men teching, must get a freaking woody when ever he would see the car.. He teched it the first time it went there with me.. He asked how fast then, and i told him i was going to try to get it in the 12's.
well that night it went 9.56 back to back 3 times in a row..
the next time i went back to the track, a different fellow was teching me.. That old man went out of his way to come running up to the fellow that was teching the car to say HEY thats a 9 second car!!!
He told me, I thought you said you were going to try to get the car in the 12's last time.. I told him I decided to just skip the 12's Then he wanted to know where the bottle was, so i pointed to the fire bottle beside the driver seat... He said NO, the N20... I said i don't run that Pussy Juice.
The car is now 8.50 certified, so that old tech man can go Fuck himself now.. People do stop what they are doing to watch the POS make a pass,, It still amazes me the piece of Shit is a fast SOB.. it looks to be a 14 second slug, that might have parts fall off of it going down the track..
I also have a AMC bud that has been on me to put muffs. on it, and go street racing. He says i'd clean up.. But i kinda like to keep my drivers licence and the car. So i have had to keep telling him NO street racing for the POS..

431 c.i. Dbest dyno pull was 745 h/p .. but it makes 700 + h/p from 6200 rpm, all the way up to 8000 were the pulls ended.
this is a bracket engine, that requires very little maintance, as far as race engines go.
I'm going to step things up a little over this season.
I have a bit bigger carb. i want to try, adn i also want to swap a set of 1.7 rockers on and see what that does as well.
but goign to make the first couple times out, with the same eng. combo as last year, to get a good base line before any changes at all.
