yea it would have said FIRE ..lol..remeber the working lights it had in the picture??
Well after i yanked the little 406 out and put in the higher h/p engine, the next time i went down to edgewater for a stick shift event, the switch panel caught fire going down the track,, what a rush, banging the Jerico faster to try to get it off the track to save it from a total fire.
the car got rewired (by me) within a week, and back out to our local track to get yelled at about it being a 9 sec. car  fuck um..
the car is now in Ky. getting a chassy sticker to keep that Fucker off my ass @ national trials. going to do a little tuning to the engine this winter as well, and see if i can get the piece of Shit a bit quicker

Tubbed, after the Crash that took out my Tubby. Well the Hornet just wasn't quite the same. The POS brought back that Fire within me..
I think it has something to do with the Jerico

Now the Hornet is most likely going to stay on the back burner for awhile yet... think it will just wait untill the 499 is ready. And im looking at Liberty or maybe a G-force to *Stick* in it.

Yea I miss Randy's smart ass answers to every fucking thing you'ld ask the ole Fart.. I tell you what tho. He was about the funiest fucker i every partied with even tho he was in his 60's when i met him.. I don't think i could have hung with him in his prime parting days...
Hell Robert still mentions some stories i hadn't heard before...

One of my favorites from Randy was on the house boat the 1st *big Ass Bash* he and Robert hosted.. he told the story about Robert working on the AMX and he went off to bang Linda Vaughn.. he told us how he was told Linda's pussy was as big around as a beer can,, But he said thats alright, It streched. he was indeed a hoot, and the piece of Shit will get a 9.37 or better time slip, before it retires from racing..
Randy wouldnt have wanted the car sitting being a show car, he would want it out there yanking wheels and amazing people on how fast the piece of shit really is... The car is scarey to say the least. Guys when im telling you the weld work is shit, believe it.. and to think ole Randy went 9.38 @ 146 is out of sight.. but hell, he also said the cage is just there for when you hit the wall. And I don't hit the wall!

come to think of it... I have been 9.56 @ 141   with it this year, well in 2007

Capt. Randy wanted a stroker..
Barry Allen put him together a 431 ci., it had HLR alum. heads, and A Big roller cam, and it was shifted at 8500 rpm.. and yes..
2 things that Randy belived in...
1 Manual transmissions
2 No N20 (or pussy juice) as Randy called it..

I think if he would have lived longer, we would have been able to talk him into N20,,, he was almost there the season before he died..
I warned him that it was addictive tho.....
However, he didnt live to the next race season.
He didnt suffer (knowlingly) from the cancer for long tho. After he was diag. he only lived for about 7-10 days..

When i got the POS, with me in it, it weighed 2925 lbs..
my weight was 135 lbs @ 5-6 or 7
Randy was 6-2ish and weighed right around 200 i'd say, but i did notice him lossing some weight the last year.
since i knew the brothers, Randy was always thinner then Robert tho..

Dammm 2.00,, i need to go to SC to get my Weed then :o
