Hedders Burnin Rocker Gaskets

Ok so my rocker gaskets are close to edge of heddman hedder flanges . So close the rocker gaskets axeually touch the hedder flanges in some spots . they axeually get singed by the heat
Is any one else havin this problem or is it just me ..77.
I used to be good , then I got better , now I just dont care.

Mine do that too.

I have been buying felpro rubber gaskets and they turn to speghetti about once a year. I just use it as an excuse to lash the valves and buy new gaskets. I have hooker super comps. I guess you could remove the headers and take some of the material off and trim the gasket a little.
