Those look pretty darn good, I think you'd have to go to a remote filter system so you could use a GM filter. I didn't see one for AMC/Buick

I take that back, they do make a direct replacement filter for us.

I dunno, he's pretty smart. look at the other aluminum heads... not much better than iron heads done right. maybe he's afraid he can't improve the design much and don't wanna get into that mess...

I've always been taken back with these reusable filters in that they don't filter very well in the ISO or SAE tests. But for drag racing where your biggest problem can be fuel dilution, I guess it could save money in the long run.
Get you a toilet paper filter. At least if you quit driving your car you can put the filter to good use in the crapper!
