I need some sheet metal for my Concord. I need a passenger floor the most. But, I also need the sheet metal in the engine compartment that was around the battery area... basically from the frame rail up to the fender - from before the shock tower to the front. Make sense? It looks like one panel that was spot welded in. I can put up a pic if need be.

I believe that any Hornet/Spirit/Gremlin piece will work here............probably something on a 4wd Eagle as well.

Eric , Ive got a 77 Hornet parts car for ya.. best part its free... Just havent taken it to Spuds AMC distribution house yet... You can handle it if you want to.. just takes time.

eric's bailed out on his concord. now he's got a jeep commanche to drag race. he's maybe gonna dump the concord at SPuD's unwanted rambler farm. we'll see if i get some more treasure.

Well, I haven't got a Comanche yet, but it would be nice to find. I am building a 4.0L though. KB is producing a piston right now that uses the 258 crank and 4.0 rod to make a 4.6L. They are not available for a couple more weeks, but i called Summit and they said they can get them in any size for $475, and yes they are forged slugs.

I like the Concord, I think it's a pretty cool car and would make a decent racer. But, it's just too much work for me and my range of tools. The Comanche is more plug and play and the parts are much easier to come by. The Concord isn't that bad off to be truthful. So, Spud, do you want to take it? I should be able to deliver it in a couple weeks time if you want.

oh ok, no commanche. so seems like your best bet is to go back to the concord and do what you originally planned then. want to make it easier? ok first off, FUCK all that computerized horseshit. fling that 4.0 in there, no 4.6 complexities, buy a clifford intake and hedman header with the money they want for those forged slugs... get a motorcraft ignition and a old school 904 . i bet it runs as good as a 304 and weighs less. if you still got that 258, the accesories and damper bolt on. I tell you, fuck that computer shit. get something you can modify and tune. you can't tweek that bullshit obd-1 garbage for shit. fuckit! and fuckit! now. hook up a goddam alternator and ignition module and be the fuck done. fuck that horseshit injection hookup and plumbing and pump and all that crap!!!! don't keep loading yourself down with complexities you'll be dam sorry you did in 2525 if your still alive and that fucker is still sitting there with a hundred pounds of wire hanging off it.

Ill donate most of the parts Eric..as long as I dont have to race that Cherokee again... and hafta wait up for ya....
